Bumble bees (genus Bombus) are a group of robust, fuzzy insects known for their essential role in pollination. There are over 40 species of bumble bees native to North America, each contributing uniquely to biodiversity and are vital to the health of ecosystems and agriculture. Many bumble bee species are experiencing population declines due to habitat loss, pesticide use, climate change, and disease. Some species, like the Rusty-patched Bumble bee (Bombus affinis), are listed as endangered. Bum
