Clone Systems on Instagram: "A serious vulnerability has been identified in CentOS Stream 9 that allows a local user to escalate privileges to root. The flaw is caused by a use after free bug in the Linux kernel network traffic scheduler. Under certain conditions the scheduler frees memory prematurely but continues to reference it, creating an opportunity for arbitrary code execution with elevated privileges. A proof of concept exploit is already circulating, making timely remediation critical.
