The BeamShaper adapts the shape and size of the laser beam’s focal spot for the cutting of >10mm mild steel sheets. It enables the flame cutting of up to 30-millimeter mild steel. BeamShaper increases the flexibility with regard to material and the cutting speed during flame cutting. A variety of steel qualities with a thickness above 10 millimeters can be cut with smooth edges. This reduces post-processing and facilitates the unloading of cut parts.
