Here's a simple mending method to prolong the life of your garments:I've had these jeans for many years, and have mended little holes over time. This particular hole was between the legs, so I thought I'd opt for a subtle, time-honoured mending method.Here's what I did:1. Using a double sided fusible webbing, I ironed on a piece of firm cotton fabric on the reverse of the hole. It was a weekend to snuggle in. Mended an ultra comfy pair of jeans my mom passed along to me that had massive holes. Patched them with inspiration from the Japanese mending technique Sashiko. I used regular cotton embroidery thread because it’s what I had and a YouTube video called “Repair jeans with Sashiko and whipstitch”. Is it perfect? No! Does it matter?
