This is an LR low-pass filter simulation using a 10 mH inductor and 10 Ω resistor. The input is a sine wave (blue) varies from 1Hz to a few kHz, and the output (green waveform) shows the corresponding output. After the cut-off 159Hz, the output starts declining. This circuit simulation illustrates waveform shaping from a square wave to a sine-like wave using passive components. A 1 kHz square wave input is applied to an LC low-pass filter formed by a 50 mH inductor and a 1 µF capacitor.
