Although I mostly use a felting ball to create 3D forms in wet felting, another option is to use a flat resist, which is perfect for making a bag with a flatter profile like these clutch/flap bags. Here’s me making a new wet felted clutch bag sample for a recent workshop! You’ll see I’m using wool batt fibre (which is really easy to lay out in pieces) and high wool content yarns for the decoration on top.
