The extra wards give us much-needed additional bed space, at what continues to be a very busy time for our hospitals. If you've found lockdown hard, spare a thought for Kathleen... She's spent the last 104 days on a ward at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, but now finally she's well enough again to go home! After being admitted to hospital back in mid-April, Kathleen spent 3 and half months being cared for by our amazing nursing team on Beech B Ward. The ward team developed a great bond with Kathleen, trying to keep her spirits up as she wasn't able to have visitors in person due to Covid-19 restrictions. All the

Today we mourned the loss of one of our own 😢💔 Carlos Sia was a Healthcare Assistant at Worcestershire Royal Hospital, but sadly passed away last month with Covid-19.
