A year ago I did this challenge. And this year I beat my last time by 3 seconds. Three seconds sounds small, but I’ve had four surgeries since then. If anything, this should have taken me longer than last time. There have been a lot of days since my surgeries where I’ve felt behind. Like I lost momentum. Like I’m not as strong or capable as I used to me. But this has shown me that strength and endurance aren’t simply physical, they’re mental. It’s mindset. We think progress has to look dramatic
