Attach the Bi-Level Topstitch Foot for the IDT system Engage the IDT system. Align the fabric up next to the inner left side of the foot. Select a straight stitch and adjust the needle position to the desired placement. TIPS & HINTS: The left underside of the presser foot is thicker allowing it to glide along the folded edge of the fabric. Sometimes you just want to make something, but don't have a lot of time. We took 3 coordinating fall fabrics, cut them into 6--6 1/2" squares and sewed them together to make a basic placemat. Using the Clear Stitch-in-the-Ditch foot for IDT makes finishing this simple project quick and easy. Add some binding and you have a set of cute fall placemats! If you have a little more time, consider adding fall-themed appliqués or embroidery to one, or more, of the squares. | Pfaff North America
