Often times, when we’re working on an automation project, there are multiple part sizes and variations involved. For the process to run smoothly, the system must be able to verify each part so it can be picked and placed correctly into the machine or pallet. In this specific application, we’re using a Keyence IV4 vision sensor with AI. The system analyzes part characteristics and uses AI to identify which part is being picked, which then determines how it is oriented and placed in the machine. K
