There are so many acrylic mediums out there, that you can use for making impasto “thick paint” Drop your thick paint questions in the comments and I’ll do my best to help! You can use many different acrylic mediums to make “thick paint” or you can even mix multiple mediums together, but personally I use modeling paste, and light modeling paste the most often. Gel mediums are also a personal favourite, but they create a very different finished look than modeling paste, so make sure you take that into consideration when choosing your medium.
