There is a "hole" in the Indian Ocean. 🌊 You think the Earth is a perfect round ball? Think again. It’s actually shaped like a potato. Because the Earth isn't perfectly dense, gravity isn't the same everywhere. And right here—south of India—gravity is "broken." This is the Indian Ocean Geoid Low. The gravitational pull is so weak in this spot that the water isn't pulled down as hard as the rest of the planet. The result? The sea level here is 100 meters (328 feet) lower than the global average.
