Do you struggle with binding? So did I until I learned this method! Now my binding goes on so easily and it always looks great! I recommend practicing with some scraps at first until you get the hang of it. You can use clips or basting glue. I love the Roxanne glue baste & you only need a small amount. Sewing up this pouch was the perfect little Sunday project! This was my first attempt at a new design so it’s not perfect, but this is just part of the process! Trial & error is how I design. I always start with a piece of paper, sketch my design and immediately start sewing. I adjust as I go, seam rip more than I like and write everything down in my notebook as I go. I generally make a minimum of 3-5 before I even writing a pattern. Then I make another as I write and one more when I’m done writ

Quilting lessons learned… I was so excited to finally assemble my quilt and I just started sewing, and sewing and sewing. Without stopping to look. You know- To really look and make sure everything was right. Or at least close… Then I found a pucker. 🤦‍♀️ And then I saw the blocks that were didn’t match up enough, to the point where I knew it wouldn’t just “quilt out” and it would be very visible. 😩 So I’ll be hanging out with my friend Jack today. Take your time, slow down & check the blocks
