"I purchased this alarm as a replacement. I really upgraded the stereo, speakers and amps so I really need supreme protection. I did a lot of research and chose the VIPER 2 channel for my needs. This system has all the bells and whistles and I love the remote control that shows you on the screen if your door is ajar. I love that it will work up to 1500 feet and chirp you if someone is messing with the truck. In the end spend some extra cash because being cheap will cost you." (Review posted on B
