If you'd like to sew along, here are the measurements needed to make one block just like ours (Finished block is 7 1/2" X 6 1/2"): Background fabric (taupe): 2-5 1/2" x 1 1/2"; 4-1 1/2" x 1 1/2" Spool top and bottom (maroon): 2-1 1/2" X 6 1/2" Thread section (5 different colors): 5-1 1/2" x 4 1/2" *If you want to make your "thread" section one solid piece, it will need to be 5 1/2" x 4 1/2". If you don't have floating stitches, experiment wi
